Lake Purdy Bridge on Grants Mill Road closed until mid-day
The Lake Purdy Bridge on Grants Mill Road will be closed until at least mid-day today.
The bridge was shut down Friday night in preparation for an inspection by the Alabama Department of Transportation.
"The inspection will take place at 11 a.m. and the bridge will re-open around 12 a.m. if all goes well," said Birmingham traffic engineer Greg Dawkins.
