Notice of Cooperative District Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of The Cooperative District of the City of Leeds-General (the “District”), will hold a meeting at Leeds Civic Center Meeting Room, 1000 Park Avenue, Leeds, Alabama, at 11:00 AM on the 28th day of August, 2009, for the purposes of: (1) considering approval of a waiver of conflict letter by the District with regard to the representation by the law firm of Walston, Wells & Birchall, LLP, Jim Birchall and Mike Quillen of the District and of the City of Leeds in the validation proceeding pending in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, Alabama; and (2) transacting such other business or taking such further action as might be conducted or taken at a regular meeting of the Cooperative District.
The meeting is open to the public and all interested persons are invited to attend.
