Chick-fil-A named Business of the Year
Leeds — The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce presented its annual award for Business of the Year to Chick-fil-A restaurant. Owner/operator Scott Robinson accepted the award on behalf of the business.
Chick-fil-A was honored for its community service programs that benefit non-profit organizations and public schools.
“One of the great things about working in a small town is that you get to trade with your friends,” Robinson said. “The things we do for the schools is nothing that (others) wouldn’t do as well.
"This is quite an honor. There are a lot of folks around here who do a lot and it is an honor to be chosen (as Business of the Year)."
