Painting on a little history

Local artist Peggy Smith is pictured working on the mural of Fuller’s Mill on the side of the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library. Smith also painted the train depot mural on the building on 9th Street where Timeless Finishes is located. The Leeds Downtown Mural Committee is hoping to paint murals depicting historic Leeds on a few other downtown buildings to help beautify the area and display some local history.
