Leeds High School Homecoming is next week and the Leeds Police Department has released the Homecoming Parade route some parade-goers and other motorists can plan for traffic and anticipated road closures.
The parade begins at 1:30 and will take the following path:
1. Start behind City Hall (8373 1st Ave.);
2. Turn right onto 1st Ave. from 7th St;
3. Turn left onto 9th St;
4. Turn left onto Parkway Dr.;
5. Stay straight on Parkway to Ashville Rd., turn left onto Ashville Ct.;
6. Go one block to 1st Ave., turn left onto 1st Ave.
7. Stay straight on 1st Ave., disband in the 700 block of 1st Ave. at City Hall.
This year’s Homecoming theme is Western and the Leeds High School Green Wave will be taking on the Walter Wellborn Panthers at 7 p.m.
