MOODY — Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Mack Reed of Moody announce the engagement of their daughter, Candace Lauren, to Adam Lee Cromer, son of Terry and Beverly Cromer of Moody.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dianna Reed Maples of Leeds and the late Travis Reed of Moody, Janice Hollis of Georgia, and the late Wayne Hollis of Cook Springs.

The bride-to-be is an undergraduate at UAB and is employed with Crossroads Animal Hospital in Moody.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cromer of Birmingham and Mrs. Mary Willhelm and the late A.C. Willhelm of Birmingham.

He is employed with Leeds Water Works.

The wedding is planned for Spring 2011.
