Barkers welcome daughter

Jason and Emily Barker of Hoover announce the birth of their daughter, Avery Elizabeth Barker, who was born on June 27 at Brookwood Hospital. She weighed seven pounds and three ounces.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Edwin Rehm of Texas, Terri and Wayne Keith of Saginaw and Keith Barker of Moody. Great-grandparents are Mrs. John Rehm of Georgia, Mrs. Joann Shorter of California and Jerry and Edna Barker Thornton of Moody.

Great-great-grandmother is Louise Brasher of Leeds.
