Mr. and Mrs. Stephen D. Price of Leeds announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Kiah Price to Mr. Eric Andrew Colcord, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Robert Colcord Jr. of Georgia.
The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of the University of Alabama Capstone School of Nursing and is employed by Northside Hospital in Georgia.
The prospective groom will graduate in May with a bachelor of science in education for the University of Georgia. He is pursuing a career in special education.
The couple met while volunteering their summer at JH Ranch in California in 2007.
The wedding is planned for June 27 at First Baptist Church in Leeds.
