PELL CITY —
This afternoon Michael Brandon Kelley of Moody was found guilty of two counts of capital murder and one county of sexual torture by a St. Clair jury.
Kelley was on trial for the 2008 brutal torture and murder of 23-year-old Emily Milling of Leeds.
Milling left The Central Club in Leeds on the night of November 14 with Kelley and was never seen alive again. Her body was recovered off Markita Springs road in Leeds three days later.
Expert testimony, photographic and DNA evidence showed that Milling was tortured and murdered in Kelley's mobile home.
Kelley faces life in prison without the possibility of parole, or death by lethal injection, though sentencing has not taken place yet.
